I don't have a very sweet tooth so the cup cakes I ordered were quite good. Since I'd never been there before I ordered the much talked about red velvet cake and my friend chose a salted caramel. I preferred the icing on the salted caramel and although the red velvet is quite popular I thought it was quite dry and the icing a little too sweet.
Not much in the choice of herbal teas either,... more
I don't have a sweet tooth, I have sweet TEETH. :D
This is a solid place to grab a slice of heaven. My favorites have to be the lemon raspberry cake, the red velvet (their best seller) and the the rainbow cake...in that order. Went there yesterday with my partner. We had one red velvet cake and one raspberry cheesecake brownie. The red velvet cake was really moist and delicious, but the cheesecake was not as expected. The cream cheese seemed flavourless. Overall the cakes are a bit pricey and the place is quite crowded with a few tables only. Also if you decide to not eat in, all the cakes will be cheaper by one pound. more
