I like the crown, actually, I love it. If you are looking for a non-pretentious pub in Islington (which can be a hard find) this is the place to be. A few locals and workers who have... more

We visited The Crown for a quick one before the matinee at the nearby Almeida Theatre. you cant go wrong with a pint of Fullers and for added enjoyment we ordered a perfectly cooked scotch egg and two falafel fritters served with tzatsiki. Both were delicious and set us up for an afternoon of high drama. We will definitely be back for mote food - and for more Fullers! more
