Took my mother here for a Mother's Day treat (the day before because it was fully booked already on the Sunday). The service was excellent and very helpful - mum has mobility problems and the staff were really supportive. The set menu was very good value and really well cooked. The view from the windows is lovely and we had a most enjoyable time. Would definitely recommend for lunch and we... more

Food: the wharf serves pub food but aims for a higher standard than your average pub. & a higher price of course. which is why i'm left with a feeling that for the £30+ per head (without wine!) The Wharf is a lovely contemporary restaurant in a great location overlooking the Thames. The food is a fusion of modern European and vibrant Asian cuisine. The glass frontage means all diners get to enjoy the fantastic views and there is a stylish bar to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif or cocktail. The waiting staff are charming and the service is prompt. more

Not usually one to give a Restaurant a poor review but after the afternoon/evening we had at The Wharf I feel it's my duty to warn people about it.

Let me start by saying the food was 'OK', nothing to shout about but nice. The small portion size was a a bit of a problem. I was left still hungry after their Roast Rump of Lamb, there were no side dishes.

The location of the Wharf is really... more
