It was wonderful. All of it. The location of the hotel, the scattered rose petals, the lady playing the harp and the waitress greeting me with a 'bonjour'.
I ordered a pot of rose bud tea which kept getting filled up with hot water, totaling my tea intake to about 10 cups! I think i could skip the sandwich bit of afternoon tea. They just fill me up too much when what I'm really interested in... more
The tea and pastries/desserts were really good. The sandwiches were good too, but it was just a lot of food. It was our first time here and we ordered two of these. We didn't know that it was a lot of food. So one of them are enough for two people. more
The main thing I loved about this place was the decor. It is exactly what you would expect from a high afternoon experience. It's cozy, luxurious and of course.. rose. There was a last playing the harp making the ambience even better!

Couldn't have asked for a better tea experience. The tea sandwiches were both pretty and delicious. The service was refined yet earnest, even genuinely friendly. I'm so glad I chose this as my first and only British Tea. more
Warm and cozy ambience, not overly crowded, soft pink tones- perfect setting for afternoon tea. The service was impeccable, the lady playing the harp added to the experience.
