Tad bemused by the low rating this place has on Yelp. I was all but bowled over by the food, service and decor of the Mughal inspired restaurant.

The intimate candle lit interior is something to behold. It really feels like you are in a time warp as you descend into a Mughali haven. The place is teaming with original Indian artifacts, antiques and art work. The music is traditional and sets... more

Amazing restaurant with great ambience in the heart of Knightsbridge. The prices are actually reasonable and the food is really good quality. The Palak chicken is amazing, really special in fact. The decor is very nice, but the food is mediocre. The samosas had a nice flaky outside, but no spice inside. I ordered the Lamb Karahi spicy and it seemed they added jalapeños after to add spice, rather than slow cooking the spice into the dish. The masala chai was good -- not on the menu but just ask. more
