Amazing intimate place with books dogs and poetry and absinthe!!!
The lead poet is super cool and inspiring. The place - very Victorian in spirit - really makes you feel like you're part of some magic intellectual circle in wonderland.

I really enjoyed my first visit here. It is a café / bookshop with a gallery downstairs. I did not see the gallery though I spend a few hours there browsing through the variety of books that can be bought.
You can also get tea or coffee, with a pot of tea being around 2 quid. Once you have your drink, have a sit at the table in the middle of the room that allows for chat with the other guests... more
I love walking down the many hidden alleys in Soho, and this has always been one of my favourites. I used to work on the corner of Beak and Carnaby Street, and this used to be my shortcut to Berwick Street - ah, those were the days.

What a line. And what a bar to reach! An extremely fabulous little spot nestled down one of those random little streets in Soho, The Society Club obviously weren't worried, nor did they need to be.
