Ok this is a crap part of town. Everything in the Southbank area is a chain, and although some chains are horrible (I'm looking at you Le Pain Quotidien) and some are pretty good (Ping Pong, you're ok), it's all a sea of mediocrity.

Situated along near the BFI and Waterloo this is one of Raymond Blancs restaurants we didn't book a table, just walked in and was seated straight away, nice decor and lighting, staff very pleasant and welcoming, if your near this restaurant whilst up London along the Southbank then I highly recommend popping in for a meal, my picture shows 9oz Rump Steak and Fries more
A total disappointment! We ate at the Southbank site this past Tuesday evening for dinner.
After watching 3 season of "Last Restaurant Standing", I had very high hopes and expectations for this restaurant. We came to London for vacation during my 12 year old son's spring break, and made sure to include this on our "restaurant to do" list. I wish I had gone back for more fish and chips... more
This place is nice for a romantic meal I feel as the atmosphere in the restaurant is dimly lit with candles flickering away on the tables (even though a tad dangerous when got the menu) and the décor is dark. I had duck for my main (breast and leg) and the meat fell of the bone of the leg and the breast was so tender it melted in my mouth practically. My husband had steak and fries cooked... more
