Being a Met Film student, I pretty much lived here. Its the preferred pub for my former school. Good beer and cider but the gem of this place is the outdoor beer garden. The inside of it is cozy and very intimate without being too romantic.
Bar staff is cheerful and helpful. Food and drinks are expensive but hey its London! Prime pub food if you can afford it. If the Brits had a Cheers bar... more
Had a great tasty dinner with perfect service. We stayed for 3 hours since we had a perfect table in the back, kind of sheltered. Kept ordering drinks after dinner was finished. Completely satisfied with the experience! more
Have eaten here a couple of times now when visiting London. I like the location near the Tube station and also the layout and decor.
Food is really good - this time, I ate the lamb rump dish which a few colleagues also had, and we all loved it -really above average for pub food! Really recommend having lunch or dinner here if you're in the area. more

I'm so glad I had one of the last meals on my trip to London at The Grove. It's got a fantastic beer selection, amazing Fish & Chips and the Croquettes as a small plate were all delicious.
Aside from the food the place is super cozy and a great place to take in the pretty local crowd. more
