My sister and I had Sunday roast here this past weekend and it was very good. The lamb was tender and the beef was quite tasty as well. The potatoes were crisp and delicious. Unfortunately our waitress had a bit of an attitude serving us, but it didn't ruin our time. The downstairs bar is very inviting and fun - and they serve Brooklyn Lager on tap! more
Love these place. I have been many times. You can see it's a locals place but people in the know so search this out. It often hosts culinary events from the London food scene but I was lucky to test out the 4th July BBQ in the back garden which was great. They even bought over imported American beers.

Great local pub in Islington with some amazing food which constitutes fine dining restaurant quality. Great wines too. Check out their Sunday roast but make sure you book at any point when it comes to eating, or you will have to wait for a table or be disappointed. They have a garden as well for the Summer. more
