I ate here in late February and had a nice evening meal.
The atmosphere of the venue was really nice and I felt this was one of the best service spots (at least our server was great) I've eaten at in London.
The food is decent I had the Lamb Shoulder and I split a couple smalls with my dinner colleague.
While there was nothing wrong with the meal or service I still left feeling... more
Fantastic service. Have to start with that review because their staff was in resolve. Taking my vegan ways on the road is always a challenge but Village East was not only accommodative, they generally seemed thrilled to be able to delight me with great choices during a business dinner.
The food was also great. Surprisingly large, American-esque portions.

Went here with some friends on a Saturday night and the place was absolutely packed.
Most of the food that we had was really great, but my main course was really not even edible. Really disappointed by this place after reading so many great reviews. I had a great experience at first ahead of a large party booking - very helpful staff helped us to pre-order our menu, letting us know they would place down name cards for everyone to receive their food smoothly on the night.

I like the concept of this place. I came here with a friend for dinner, and we tried their beer cocktails during happy hour. That was fun. The drinks were nice, but smaller than I expected.
