Nice enough pub, frequented by the sort of hipsters you might expect in this sort of the world. Good looking food, good beers ( tending to the -cough cough- craft beer -grinds teeth- end of things), and Sunday afternoons here are enlivened or marred ( depending on your point of view on jazz) by live music. The inside is nice and cosy, staff were all v friendly,... more

Haven't done much pub crawling in Peckham but the little bit that I have has found me making my way to the Monty on a semi-regular basis. Cool vibe, good music, menu looks solid (not that I've tried much off it, but what I have was tasty) and the staff has always been friendly. As a student who sometimes goes a bit nuts sitting in my library or Peckham Library for hours on end, the Monty is a... more
