From its spot on Chelsea’s fashionable Kings Road, The Pheasantry follows the popular Pizza Express Live model – combining live music with fresh pizzas. Its basement dining club has a packed programme, with performances every night of the week – promising everything from jazz and cabaret to fado and folk music. The building has a colourful musical history too. In its days as a nightclub, the venue gave a platform to the likes of Lou Reed, Queen and Hawkwind, and in the 1960s a certain Eric Clapton lived on the top floor.
