If you have a very special occasion to celebrate (and appreciate fine dining), this is probably one of the best places in the City in which to do it. I've had the pleasure of dining here around 7 times over the last year, and on each visit I've been impressed by the ambience, service, quality of staff and of course calibre of menu (the execution of which being excellent, too).

We were at the Angler in a group of 8 people and had a most wonderful experience on that evening. All of us had the "Chef's view" menue, which was dominated by different fish dishes, but the chef was flexible enough to also take care of people with diatery requirements (yes, there was one in the group who is allergic to fish and raw seafood).

I think I expected something more special for a 2 Michelin restaurant. It was a nice restaurant but it's nothing special. We got the 3-course menu with champagne. The food was alright, although I did especially enjoy their chocolate profiterole dessert! Also there isn't much of a view despite the lovely windows and interior design more
