Com Viet is a great choice for the classic Vietnamese dishes you already know and love, from spring rolls to heart-warming pho and stir-fried beef. The dishes here are light and very reasonably priced. Alongside the familiar, the menu is just experimental enough to encourage a taste of something new. Instead of the usual chilli, salt and pepper squid, why not try the chilli, salt & pepper frog's legs?
Located close to the West End theatres and Covent Garden's entertainment venues, it's a particularly good pre-theatre or weekend lunch spot.

Interesting when you enter, looks like there are only 4 tables to the restaurant but there is a hugh restaurant downstairs. Had the braised beef cheek pho. Delicious!! Wait serve was quick and friendly. Nice restaurant and was quite busy!! more
I ordered the beef pho and grilled spareribs. The pho noodle presentation was very pretty. However, the broth tasted strangely gamey. Not very pleasant. Half of the ribs were good. However, the other half were overcooked and too tough. Get couldn't actually tear the meat off of one of the ribs, and I've got sharp teeth. more

We had the Banh xeo next. The Banh xeo is. Crepe like pancake folded over a savory preparation of wok fried... more
Service was very good. Food's ready quite soon. The beef pho we had was okay for the price. Will be even better if we get to decide how well the meat is cooked (i.e. Rare, well done). more
i vacationed in the uk in the spring, and spent three nights in london - ate at com viet every day without a flicker of traveler's remorse.
i can't speak for the rest of the menu, but i can recommend you come here just for the bun bo hue (as i did... three times). this is quite possibly one of my favorite noodle dishes, but it's hard to find a satisfying take on the east coast. somehow, in... more
