One of the relatively few "proper" secondhand book shops in this part of town; smallish stock but tend toward the quality end of things. Expect prices commensurate with that. Lots of travel, art, and architectural books. more
This is a quirky little bookshop at the end of the Kings Road. It smells really musty because the books are so old but that smell has a strange effect on me. It sort of brings up memories of my old library in Ireland in a nice way.
There is a pretty good selection of books here from cooking, performing arts to travel, history and politics.

I don't think I've ever been treated more despicably in my life. I bought a book back in December that the shop lady said I could return at any point if I needed to. She included a note on my receipt so that I would be sure to have no trouble. A good choice of books on all subjects to be had at this friendly cave of a place at the not-so-poncey end of King's Road. Explore the dusty shelves to your heart's content.
