I live almost next door to this deli so I really wish I could rate this place better. Firstly, it's super cramped inside - try coming here on a weekend during the day - it's packed. They've got the essentials in here - similar to what you would expect in a deli. Milk, coffee, eggs, bread, etc - but they're mostly from independent shops, bakeries, etc.

Wonderful range of items in this tiny deli. Besides a counter with meat and cheeses (and a mushroom pâte), there is a small, cold buffet with interesting foodstuffs. I got a mix of the Polish sliced beets with horseradish; the muhammara; and a butternut squash mix (all delicious). Stumbled across this amazing local deli a few weeks ago and finally managed to fit in a visit. Feeling really weary this morning the combination of coffee and doughnuts was just what I needed and boy did De Beauvoir deliver.

Sweet deli shop. When entered I felt like I was somewhere back in time - in a best possible way. Loved the interior and the display. Everything seemed really well looked after.
There was all sorts of deliciously looking foods and drinks, I just got hazelnut ice cream, which was of course deli quality.. HEAVENLY!
