The Hampshire Hog is a brilliant place to while away a Sunday or two. Every week, this gastropub puts on either a Sunday roast or barbecue, depending on the weather. Either way, this Hammersmith pub fills out quickly so it’s worth turning up early. The menu features gastro fare such as gnocchi, ribeye and a hog burger which draws in the meatlovers of West London. The interiors are clean, bright and spacious, and extend out onto a shaded terrace, allowing for some pleasant al-fresco dining. The pantry part of this pub’s set up is a child-free space for people to work during the day.

We went on a Thursday around noon. Waitress seemed very new to the gig and not very experienced. Very nice person but didn't seem to be in restaurant industry for long. Food was decent. Small portions not too overwhelming. more
I really like this place but the service is unusually slow. I have been here a few times for lunch and for breakfast and even though the restaurant did not seem to have many customers, the food took at least 30 minutes to get out. The last time we went we just ordered the porridge and the huevos rancheros and it still took 30 minutes. The lunch items were tastier than their breakfast... more
