Almost didn't get in despite emailing the club beforehand to ask what the entry policy is. I wasn't told about the guest list policy and had to talk my way in to the less than friendly woman on the door.

Tried to get in one time but was told I was "too urban"
How ironic, Mark Ingram of the New Orleans Saints was told the same thing also! Guess the Saints were too urban to get into this club with reservations, but just urban enough to come back to London next year and perform in front of 50,000 fans! How funny is that? :)

I was on a business trip to London last week and my local friends had booked us a reservation at Cirque Le Soir. Our friends inquired about dress code requirements and we all showed up dressed to impress. I'd give this place no stars if I could. The venue is small, but full of energy and cute circus themed surprises around every corner.
Unfortunately the Cirque le Soir isn't enjoyable unless your a petite blonde gal.
Fellas good luck getting in unless you have a wave of females with you and are ready to empty your pockets.

The irony, they promote urban music but deem professional black men as "too Urban" for entry. Mark Ingram from The New Orleans Saints was denied entry due to his skin color.
