Hanwell Flight
About
Hanwell Flight is a section of London's canal with six locks, built in 1794. The locks allow narrowboats to travel 16 meters up the Grand Union Canal. There is a towpath along the canal and you can walk along and watch the boats pass through the locks.
The bridge at the top was engineered by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
