Flew in from the US on a family vacation. A colleague of my husband recommended this place. This was our first formal Afternoon Tea. While we enjoyed it, we were not overtly impressed. Was at the restaurant for a pre-holiday high tea with a group of girls. The restaurant is located inside of Covent Garden Hotel which belongs to Firmdale Hotels, a chain that owns many great boutique hotels in London. Came here last night for a light supper and dessert - and they were absolutely lovely to us. This is definitely the kind of quiet, sexy, understated place you come to when you want to just focus on your date.
