It's glaringly obvious its a chain. A mix of traditional pub furniture upholster-ed in bold floral patterns. Ales and mock vintage wall paper.

Lost food order and very long wait handled well by pleasant staff, food (rib-eye steak with pepper corn sauce) above average when it at last arrived. Relaxed and pleasant made-over Victorian boozer. May 2012.

The Brockley Jack is a relatively traditional pub, serving up predominantly English food accompanied by real ale and the odd lager. It's a large building, with the Brockley Jack Theatre on one side and a garden out at the back. There are regular pub quizzes and the staff are really friendly and competent.

Have been to the Jack on numerous occasions and it has always been welcoming to our family, that is until recently.
We arrived at 18.25 to have a meal but was told as children have to be out by 19:00 we won't have time to serve you, so sorry you can't eat.
