We had the best scones of our entire trip to England here. The right flavor and texture and size - we were tempted to go back for more. The Americano coffee was also the best of the trip. Do yourself a favor if you're in Hampstead and pay a visit. It's a short walk from the Hampstead underground station. more
Best sausage roll I've ever had in my life. Can't imagine one possibly being better. Flat white was brilliant too - just top notch. Pricey, but expectedly so for the area. Highly recommended. more
Minimalism can be expensive, very expensive.
But still having Gail's nearby allows me to really enjoy weekend breakfast when I do not want to wait until my homemade bread is done. Just wake up, quick run up the street and in 15 minutes I am enjoying the sunshine with a delicious buttered bread in hand. This is one of my favourite places in Hampstead.
Ignore the fact that it's a chain. It doesn't feel like that as soon as you walk in. The staff are incredibly friendly. The food baked/made/cooked at the premises on the day.
