Top 5 reviews of Lahore Karahi
Lahore Karahi was once the best on Tooting High Street but now I'm not so sure. It has recently had a refit but it still retains the cafe style and is certainly not a place for those looking for fine dining but that is reflected in the prices.
It is always packed out so you need to catch it at the right time to avoid a lengthy wait for a table. The service has always been a little slow but... more
I first came to Lahore Karahi about 4 years ago after a colleague said this was hands down much better than Tayyabs. From what I remember, the grilled lamb was really good. Definitely a 4 star experience.

We took some out of towners here for a classic British curry experience and it totally met expectations. The star of the show were the lamb chops. I have a great photo of my friend gnawing on the bone but I won't embarrass her by posting it.
We also had the Karahi chicken, chicken jalfrezi, tarka dal, and saag paneer. All delicious.
Service was spotty but would you expect any different? more
