Bintang in Kentish Town is the little spot with a big voice. Further up from the tourist mecca and party paradise that is Camden, is this star. Yes, in Indonesia Bintang means star, so star by name, star by nature.

The Bintang noodles recipe doesn't really work. Coconut noodles with raw onions and tomato? What is this recipe? I can't believe this is Malaysian. Not a very successful recipe for a dish listed as a special.

This place is AMAZING!!! The dishes here are so well thought out and the flavors are delicious. Not to mention, the decor and ambiance just sets the place so well. If I lived here in the UK, I'd be here all the time. Definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to London!! more
Unfortunately I can't say anything about the restaurant because I ordered take-away, but I'm still allowed a review right? I wouldn't have written one if it was bad, but the Prawn Laksa dish was absolutely wonderful. Full of bold, delicious flavours and massive shrimp. A really big portion, I was impressed. more

She was very cordial and the fact there are outlets all along the walls that allowed me to charge my phone as I waited made me especially happy.
