A large group of girls (13 of us) descended onto Pappa e Ciccia late on a Saturday night, and we took up half the restaurant.
It's a little rough around the edges in terms of decor, as if it can't really decide what it wants to be. It has some personal photography and art work around the walls, but not with the gusto that you usually find in Italian (family) restaurants.

Really good pizza. The dough was fresh, airy, and relatively thin crust. High quality, non-greasy cheese on the pizzas we ordered. Nice selection of wines by the glass and bottle - wines that pair well with their menu items.

The place is a bit humble but the staff are very friendly and the pizza is not the absolute best but not bad and worth a visit. We get takeaways, deliveries and sit in, always pretty good. My local pizza, munster road has some great food and this adds to the munster village feel. more
If you are a fan of the Italian cuisine, you definitely should try the Al Crudo pizza that is offered there. The taste of mozzarella and pepperoni is simply delicious. Sometimes it is quite crowded there and not so suitable for relaxation, but it depends on the hours. more
