Featuring a fusion menu of fresh Italian food and delicious grills and bringing a Mediterranean touch to Theatreland since 1996, Cafe Mode is a friendly neighbourhood restaurant ideal for meeting friends in Covent Garden. Inspiring the welcoming ambience, the decor consists of a simple blend of dark wood and apricot walls, complemented with large mirrors. You can start with the tasty Calamari Fritti, served with dill mayonnaise dip, before tucking into a succulent Sirloin Steak or one of the famous pizzas, and finally indulging in one of the truly decadent desserts, such as the Tiramisu or Strawberry Cheesecake. This place was great for my wife, me and my 2 boys (age 6 and 9). It was just a walk in for us with no reservation before a show on Saturday night. The manager was on top of everything and made sure we didn't wait long for anything. The food was solid. The kids love the pizza and we really enjoyed the risotto. more

As we couldn't get in next door we succumbed to being stopped on the street, chugger style fashion at Cafe Mode with a 2-4-1 offer. There was also comedy downstairs too, apparently.
The Comedy was on the restaurant floor.
Whilst we... more
