The restaurant itself has a quite a unique atmosphere, with a strong red colour theme running both inside and outside the building ...you cant miss the place! Inside the restaurant is quirky but cosy.

I went here for dinner after checking into Wombat's hostel. It was a weeknight and not crowded but there was an assortment of people as well as people grabbing take out. The prices seemed reasonable, the food was tasty, the portion was more than sufficient, and the service was attentive. I was a bit sad I wanted a mango lassi to drink but they were out of it and i couldn't get any lassi. more
Have to say food was excellent, although the service as per some of the other reviews was unusual to the point of amusing.
We arrived late as they were due to close, and the waiter mumbled his way through our order, but after that it was fast hot and extremely tasty.
I would come again next time we stay at Wombats and recommend it to anyone. more
Like a few others have stated in their review; some of their staff definitely looks extremely uninterested in their job! While I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome, the experience after that wasn't that great!
