There are four impressive shops at the V&A.
The main V&A shop specialises in exclusive pieces inspired by the museum's collection. This shop is located at the heart of the museum and features a dedicated jewellery pavilion and pocket studio, both of which exhibit the best in contemporary craftsmanship and design.
The new Exhibition Road Quarter Shop, located above the Sainsbury Gallery, features a carefully curated product range that explores the architectural history of the museum. Its focus changes at key points throughout the year to reflect the Sainsbury Gallery's temporary exhibitions.
The V&A bookshop stocks a broad selection of books that range from art and design to fashion, performance and architecture. It also carries V&A titles alongside titles that reflect the museum's current exhibition programme.
Finally, the V&A Fashion Shop, which is nestled in the V&A fashion galleries, is regularly refreshed to reflect the museum's dynamic exhibition and fashion displays.

REVIEW OF MUSEUM, including shops
Superb, huge collection, with wonderful docent-led guided tours of various parts of the museum. The shop has lovely, helpful and chatty staff. I love to pick up a few postcards and see what small knick-knacks they have. There's always something a bit unique on offer here and over the years I have bought all sorts of things, fabric shopping bags, interesting books - not just about their exhibitions, brooches, sewing scissors, pocket mirrors... I can't recommend it enough for small gifts... more
There's plenty on offer that can be picked up as gifts for back home or for yourself.

I visited the shop after seeing the museum's Records & Rebels exhibition. While I did find it frustrating that the exhibition itself does not allow photography, that does happen from time to time. I did greatly appreciate that the shop had a substantial of items not only devoted to the museum itself, but specific to the exhibition to make my visit a memorable one.

I like to go there for postcards & gifts (wide range of jewelry starting from 2£ so grab a bargain) more
