I don't know if this is always the case but the food here was terrible. Low quality produce and cooked terribly. My beef roast came out and it looked horrendous - and was. I wasn't at all impressed but when my five other friends food came out there's was just as bad - fish and chips, roast pork loin, Mac and cheese. It was al really poor.

Prices are standard pub values; I had a chorizo and chicken skewer with quinoa and radish salad for £9.50 it was pretty... more

Large well decorated comfortable British pub. Good outdoor seating. Large selection of beers on tap. The Sunday brunch menu covers the staples of Sunday dinner. Had the pork loin. Generous portion of pork. The vegetables were well seasoned and the gravy was excellent.

This is one of those pubs that I have walked past hundreds of times but for some reason never been in! Went in for a pint the other weekend and found it to be perfectly serviceable if nothing special. There's something I can't quite put my finger on - I just found it to lack a bit of character. Perhaps the tables were a bit uniform? On the other hand, I was really drawn to the art on the walls... more
