Local favourite Geales is an old-fashioned fish and chip restaurant which has been frying up its simple, delicious seafood dishes since 1939. The subdued décor adds a hint of Notting Hill glamour to this otherwise straightforward restaurant, but it's the fish that everyone has come for. Specials come fresh from Devon and Cornwall, and there are plenty of favourites such as dressed crab, salmon and leek fishcakes and oysters straight from the bar.
