Wahaca was a surprising choice for us tourists from California. Judging by Wahaca I would skip Mexican food in London in the future (which perhaps isn't fair to generalize a whole city but tough titties, London).

I'm usually suspicious of Mexican restaurants that are so geographically far from Latin America, however I was pleasantly surprised by Wahaca. I remember the days when Southbank was a cultural gem and culinary wasteland. Now it has a good selection of both and Wahaca has become one of my faves. It is particularly great in summer as they have some outdoor seating overlooking the Thames.
