A solid and totally satisfying cafe/tea room.

Has the charm required to fit into South End Green/Hampstead Heath ambience.

Fine substantial breakfasts. Fine luncheons.

They don't cut corners on ingredients -

Fine coffee.

The room is a tad crowded.

I frequent this place often for weekend breakfast. I for the price, you get great value. The food is delicious and never feels too heavy even though portions are generous. Love this place. Be sure to try a pot of tea when you're here. more

TYPE: not a true tea room but rather a British style cafe serving lunch to the crowd from Royal Free hospital.

FOOD: I think their strengths are the Lebanese dishes. I had Victoria Sponge cake & hot chocolate, since I only wanted a snack. Hot Chocolate was spot on. The cake was pretty good. AMBIENCE: they do need a makeover, but the people are very friendly and after lunch crowd, I had... more
