One of those lazy Mondays off that I have from time to time, my husband took me for lunch (maybe dinner, it was quite late already) to The King's Head. A few weeks ago it was closed because, apparently, they done some serious work in the restaurant. My impression was quite good. Spacious, clean, modern but maintaining the pub vibe. A really cool venue that has just been done up downstairs, which holds its famous comedy night. I think the layout is a bit strange now (seems quite narrow), but they make u for it in star quality acts. A fair few pop down unannounced like Stewart Lee or when I went, Reginald D Hunter. Good beer upstairs too. more
