This is a great place to find trimmings and extra bits to customise clothes with. They've got everything in here, it's a real Aladdin's cave and such fun to browse. It's also not horribly expensive although not cheap either. They sell both new and vintage things so you can find something unusual. An excellent independent shop in Soho. more
We recently went in to buy some ribbon to wrap Christmas presents, and came out an hour later having spent £35 and laden with buttons, badges and vintage knitted trimming.
Though small, the shop is crammed full of everything you would ever need to make well, anything! The far room is dedicated entirely to buttons- vintage, designer copies, nautical and gaudy sequinned 1980s metallics. Boxes... more
Hurrah for Kleins!
This place is a treasure trove of haberdashery goodness. Everything you need for your sewing needs - pins, needles, cotton, ribbon, trimmings, buttons, bag handles, eyelets, etc. They even have pipe cleaners and bra wire!

Eclectic window displays give a hint of what's hidden inside - lace trim, woven badges, fastenings and more. A proper haberdashery in Soho... it's probably cheaper to shop online generally, but then you don't see to see the merchandise in person. If at all possible go outside of lunchtimes etc when it gets frantically busy. The staff are reasonably helpful but don't get to spend a lot of time... more
