Independent local museum established in 1983 by local people, with the main aim of creating a riverside museum that reflects the rich heritage of the Wandle Valley. The museum hopes to move to Ravensbury Mill, Morden Road, Mitcham. Telephone (020) 8648 0127 for latest information. Displays feature William Morris, Arthur Liberty, snuff and tobacco and the Surrey Iron Railway.

It is requested that visits by large groups and parties are arranged in advance. For a small charge we are able to provide groups a further insight into the industries of the river.
