Lockside Lounge

About

Lockside Camden is a canal-side pub, serving food on its terrace during the day, becoming a lively night-out destination in the evening. The DJ sets are regular and feature a wide variety of music, while the terrace is often used to host large barbecues. On a regular day, the food menu is concise but offers all the classics – fish and chips, beef burgers, steak and cheese sandwiches – with lots of guest beers on tap and an extensive cocktail menu.

Mojitos? In Camden Town? You'd better believe it - and some of the best I've had anywhere. Who knew?

A little crowded, but the music was thumping and we felt inherently cool sitting on Lockside's balcony. Fantastic view of the Camden market. more

I wish I could give this zero stars. As a person of color, or as a woman, do not come here. Camden Town is for the young - and the young at heart, who like to stay up late. When I was here, they were playing a Harry Belafonte album, which I happily sang along to every song - great music!

First of all, the security guards were really friendly and helpful. We came as a group of over 10 uni students and were finding difficulties trying to find a place that can squash us in on a Friday night. Not only that we were welcomed in, but we also got great sofa, because someone didnt turn on to the reservation.

Really overpriced, as my Guinness with blackcurrant syrup was £4.60... :(... more

Discriminatory, they are happy to play music produced by black people while refusing black people for benign and fabricated reasons it's truely a disgrace to the culture and extremely embarrassing on behalf of organizers. Shame on lockside lounge and it's employees. The homophobia and racism displayed by the employees at this club was both traumatizing and baffling. more
