This spring, Broadway's hilarious hit musical adaptation of the popular comedy film Mean Girls is taking residence in London at the Savoy Theatre.

Brace yourself for a high-energy ride through high school drama, laugh-out-loud moments and unforgettable characters. With show-stopping performances and a witty script, this musical delivers the best bits of the beloved teen classic.

What is Mean Girls about?

Expect iconic characters, razor-sharp wit, and killer songs from the award-winning team behind the acclaimed film, including writer Tina Fey (30 Rock), composer Jeff Richmond (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon).

Dive into the exclusive world of Mean Girls, as home-schooled Cady Heron arrives in suburban Illinois and quickly realises she’s unprepared for the wild and vicious ways of her new home.

Watch the story unfold at North Shore High School as Cady makes friends with Janis and Damien, known as the biggest enemies of the school's popular girls, The Plastics. Eager to fit in, Cady is tasked with integrating herself into the infamous group The Plastics and reporting back on the gossip – but things don't quite go as planned.

From the infamous burn book and Christmas talent show to Janis' legendary purple prom tux, the musical features all manner of iconic Mean Girls moments. The production stays true to Mean Girl's comedic style, while adapting the story for the stage. It has a modern twist with powerful music, upbeat choreography and contemporary pop culture references.
