What is The Unfriend about?

Step into the well-mannered world of Peter and Debbie as they befriend boldly eccentric Elsa in an entertaining, yet satirical look at middle-class England’s disastrous instinct to always appear nice.

Follow the mishaps of Peter and Debbie on a long-awaited cruise when they befriend Elsa, a Trump-loving widow from Denver, USA and agree to stay in touch. When Elsa invites herself to stay with the family a few months later, they decide to look her up online and quickly learn the truth about Elsa’s dangerous past. Already on her way to London, the couple battle with their politeness to ask the suspected killer to leave their home.

Discover an incredible cast that brings each character to life in this smash hit comedy. BAFTA Award-winning comedian Lee Mack, known for his shows Not Going Out and Would I Lie To You? plays typically-British Peter. He is joined by celebrated actress Sarah Alexander, and talented Frances Barber, best known for her roles in BBC series Silk and Doctor Who.
