About
Enjoy Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage, an electrifying adaptation of the much-loved movie at the Dominion Theatre.
What is Dirty Dancing about?
In the summer of 1963, Frances "Baby" Houseman is at a sleepy, upscale Catskills holiday resort with her family. While learning to dance, she falls in love with rebellious dance instructor Johnny Castle, who takes on Baby as his new partner to perform the last dance of the summer. Having very little interest for the activities organised by the holiday resort, Baby discovers a different world as she wanders into the staff quarters. Mesmerised by the sensual dance moves and the frenzied rhythms, Baby has only one thing on her mind - to be part of the scene!
While taking dance lessons, she falls in love with Johnny Castle, a rebellious dance instructor, who takes Baby as his partner in the last dance performance of the summer.
Be swept off your feet by this coming-of-age love story, based on the 1987 film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. Featuring electrifying dances and iconic songs such as “Hey! Baby”, “Do You Love Me?” and “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life”.
