Enjoy beautiful scenery and spot landmarks as you cycle the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 19. Returning for a second year, the 19-mile (31km) ride is aimed at younger and newer riders with a route between Surrey and central London.

Start at Sandown Park in Surrey before riding through south-west London, crossing Putney Bridge and heading into central London for a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace.

Providing a relaxed and fun atmosphere, this event provides a great opportunity for families and friends to ride together and enjoy atmosphere of Prudential RideLondon. It is open to riders aged 12 and up, and those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Plan your Prudential RideLondon weekend

Before the weekend of riding and racing events starts, visit the Prudential RideLondon Cycling Show at ExCeL London. This free 3-day event is home to leading experts in nutrition and coaching, who will be sharing their knowledge, tips and tricks, as well as special guests from the elite world of cycling.

On Saturday, jump on your bike for the FreeCycle and enjoy a leisurely ride around London on closed roads, stopping off at one of the 7 free Festival Zones. Later in the day, watch the world's best female cyclists compete in the Classique on a central route before being amazed as 550 riders, many dressed in fancy dress, compete in the Brompton World  Championship. Finish the day with something a little different watching some of Europe’s best at the handcycle Grand Prix evening event.

Sunday features the RideLondon-Surrey 100, Ride-London Surrey-46 and the RideLondon-Surrey Classic, part of the UCI WorldTour.

Entries are available via a ballot. The ballot closes at 5pm (BST) on 4 July.

The event is free to watch.

There are a limited number of tickets available at £10 for community groups in the host boroughs of Elmbridge (Surrey), Kingston, Merton, Wandsworth, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.

Riders aged 12 to 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18, and must be able to demonstrate their cycling competence by completing level two of the Bikeability programme (, or by being a member of a British cycling club.
