Love, Betrayal, Death - come with us on a musical extravaganza where tenor Yuri and sopranos Monique and Luciana draw us into a fantastical world of love and romance, of envy and betrayal, of tragedy and death. Our stars will delight you with their glorious voices and superb technique as they perform songs portraying a huge range of emotions, from the greats of Italian music. Featuring arias from best loved operas such as The Barber of Seville, La Traviata, La Boheme, Rigoletto and L'Elisir d'Amore written by the finest composers of Italian opera including Donizetti, Rossini, Puccini and Verdi, this concert will be a treat for opera lovers - staged in the beautiful setting of St Giles Church! Emerging pianist, Umberto Jacopo Laureti will perform a stunning intro piece on the Steinway Grand piano. Concert goers (over 18 years' of age) will also enjoy a mini wine tasting, plus a complimentary glass of wine or fruit juice with tasty snacks. Premium ticket holders will be seated in the front rows, and additionally enjoy champagne-style wine reception with the artists. Not to be missed! Luciana Di Bella is a lyrical soprano from Sicily, Italy with a velvety voice, who graduated in lyrical singing with top marks at the Conservatory of Music "Antonio Scontrino" in Trapani. Luciana debuted in opera with Traviata in 2008 and performs around Italy demonstrating a full vocal versatility that encompasses sacred music, opera, chamber and jazz. Of Italian/Thai heritage, coloratura soprano Monique Loricchio Klongtruadroke is a top graduate from the Conservatoire "B. Marcello" in Venice, Italy. Her international singing career has already taken her to 4 continents. She also sang for the King of Thailand, and created major roles in the World Premiere of operas in Australia and Thailand. Born and bred in Rome, internationally-acclaimed tenor Yuri Sabatini moved to London in 2003, and since his professional UK debut in 2008, has established himself firmly on the UK opera scene. Recently he performed songs of the late, great American-Italian Mario Lanza in a sell-out concert at Burgh House. Caroline Jaya-Ratnam is an accomplished concert pianist, accompanist, violinist and singer who holds a Masters degree in music from Cambridge University. Umberto Jacopo Laureti is an Italian pianist, who has performed widely around Europe and is currently studying for his PhD at the Royal Academy of Music.
