One of the best athletics events in the world, the Müller Anniversary Games has seen world greats such as Usain Bolt and Sir Mo Farah compete on London soil in this annual IAAF Diamond League meeting. Expect plenty of excitement as the world’s elite battle it out once more in the former London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic stadium.
Highlights of the 2018 games included Kare Adenegan smashing the T34 100m world record, Sophie Hahn bettering her own world record in the T38 200m, and British race walker Tom Bosworth breaking the 3,000m race walk world record. World and Commonwealth champion Luvo Manyonga set a new stadium and meeting record; while Karsten Warholm and Abdallelah Haroun both beat their national records en route to victories in the men’s 400m hurdles and 400m respectively.
