Voice and Vote: Women's Place in Parliament at Houses Of Parliament Free

About

This exhibition marks the century of the first women being able to vote in the UK. By recreating lost historical spaces, it tells the story of women in Parliament: the campaigning, the protests and the achievements. This is your opportunity to interactively experience women's experiences through history in the Palace of Westminster in the 'Ventilator', the 'Cage', the 'Tomb' and the 'Chamber'. Throughout the exhibition, rare and previously unseen historic objects, pictures and archives from the Parliamentary collections and elsewhere will be on show.
