Canadian sketch and improv comedy juggernauts The Lusty Mannequins are performing in London for one night only, supported by their British musical comedy sisters Flo & Joan. Ashley Comeau, Alastair Forbes, Karen Parker, and Connor Thompson are the Canadian sketch and improv collective, the Lusty Mannequins. Each an alumni of the esteemed Second City Mainstage Theatre, Toronto, combined they boast over fifty years of comedy experience with a plethora of accolades and nominations including Canadian Comedy Awards, Canadian Screen Awards and Dora Awards and have performed with everyone from John Cleese to the Kids in the Hall. Formed in 2008 by Ashley and Connor, the troupe got even lustier in 2016 with the addition of Alastair and Karen. These days they star in TV, write TV, produce TV, direct theatre, act in theatre, and teach and perform improv around the world, including the Mama City Improv Festival in Cape Town, South Africa, which Ashley co-founded in 2016. Equal parts emotional, wordy, and physical, The Lusty Mannequins are a mischief-filled ride through the clever way in which they see the world. What's their style? Think Robertson Davies throwing a cocktail party and Helena Bonham Carter, Kristen Wiig and Mr. Bean showing up. Flo & Joan are the British musical comedy duo, and sisters, Nicola and Rosie Dempsey. The piano/percussion pair have headlined and played to sold-out audiences across North America and the UK including Montreal Sketchfest (Best of the Fest Selection 2017), Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival (Now Magazine Audience Choice Award and Best of the Fest Selection 2017), Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Amused Moose Comedy Awards Top 10 Shows of the Fringe 2016) Reading and Latitude Festival. They have been featured on BBC Radio 4's 'The Now Show' and 'Fresh From the Fringe', Comedy Central, The Guardian and the AV Club, and can currently be seen on Nationwide Building Society's 'Voices Nationwide' campaign.
