It's 1997. While the rest of the village is in a frenzy and the country is gripped by New Labour/ Diana/ Teletubbies fever, our unlikely hero is spending her summer trapped behind the counter in Keith's Country Stores. As she retreats in to her imagination, creativity and the absurd collide in a tiny corner of a pre-mobile-phone world. Part of Jacksons Five festival of visual theatre.
