Stine Norse at The Slaughtered Lamb Free

About

Stine Norse is an ambient folk artist from Bergen, Norway. She started singing and writing poems at an early age but it was not until she started travelling that her poems found their melodies. She studied music in Norway before travelling to Australia where she embraced nomadic life, from the coast to the outback. Back in Norway, she grew restless and soon moved to Manchester where she found her voice in an ambient folk band before moving to London. She met Loris Barbisan at a house party in Camden and they started to work on music and travel together. Through Loris, she soon met Lewis and later Fabrizio. The four are rooted in different genres, from folk to techno, and the result can be heard on the debut EP "The Whale".
