Do you find me likeable? Would you happily spend an hour with me? How about two? This is a show about identity, authenticity and the murky area in between. It's about being yourself, and not having a fucking clue what that even means. Using nothing but a microphone, a poorly put together soundtrack and a ludicrous outfit, it exposes the daily acts of duplicity we commit in attempting to obscure the darkest parts of ourselves. This Is Just Who I Am is a sharply observed and disarmingly funny solo performance that wades around in the sludge between the people we want to be and the people we think we are. Both unashamedly nonsensical and excruciatingly honest, it spews itself all over the stage and it doesn't care what anyone thinks. Would be nice if you like it though. Funded by Arts Council England. Supported by CPT and Greenwich & Lewisham Young People's Theatre (as part of Progression).
