Sprint 2018: Before (The Line Is Lost) at Camden People's Theatre

You are 11 years old. Your brother's older friend takes you to a convention. A comic convention. 11 year old you thinks it may just be your new favourite thing. Before (the line is lost) is a one woman show about Cosplay and growing up on the internet. It addresses the world of comic conventions and consent both in reality and online through storytelling, autobiographical experience, and verbatim materials gathered through interviews with people of varying ages, races, and genders from the UK, USA, and Canada. Supported by Northern Stage, and ARC Stockton. With special thanks to Kate Craddock, Northumbria University, Kev Tweedy, Ste Allen, Jordan Carling, Stephen Mack, Thomas Potts, Kira Street, Lucy Pagliaro, Grace Coles, Simon Henderson, Kelly-Jane, Priscilla, Marley, Rebecca, Cavan, Dana, Margaret, Carol, and everyone I've cosplayed with over the last decade.
