Selection of motets

This outstanding Civil Service Choir returns for their sixth Holy Week.

Previous concerts have featured major works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Haydn - attracting capacity audiences.

This time is rather different - Francis Poulenc's 1950 setting of Stabat Mater (a 13th-century hymn depicting Mary in grief at the foot of the Cross) together with selected motets by Anton Bruckner.

Prepare to walk out afterwards stunned by incredibly powerful music. Don't miss this extraordinary lunchtime concert - even more so because the tickets are free.
