The Ceilidh (pronounced 'kay-lee') is a taste of Scotland in London. There is a live band with a caller to let you know steps. The music is traditional, sometimes with a modern twist and it is 3 hours of the best fun you can have. If you've never done ceilidh dancing before then you are in for a treat. It's like the young, bad brother of some of the stuff you might have done at school. No experience is necessary as all the dances are explained. The caller will talk each dance through first and then give some instructions during it. Nobody is watching your feet, so all you have to do is get stuck in enjoy yourself. There is a well priced bar, scummy cafe and some of the nicest cloakroom staff in the world. If you are looking for a different night out that is heaps upon heaps of fun then come on down. You can see a video of what it's like on our website.
